Surprised by Failure

A Public Forum on Failure and the Path to Flourishing, Featuring New City Fellows Alumni

Failure is something we don’t like to think about in our performance-driven culture, but it is ever-present for even the seemingly most successful of us. Some are haunted by past failures. Others are so fearful of failure that we’re consumed by perfectionism, unable to take meaningful risks in life.

Our public forum Surprised by Failure features stories from three New City Fellows alumni who discovered God’s surprising grace and ways to flourish as they wrestled with failure. Hear their stories and be encouraged.

This event was the last in the Center for Public Christianity’s series for 2022-2023, Flourishing in a Broken World. It took place on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 7:00-8:30pm, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Raleigh, North Carolina.
